Full Job Description
We're seeking licensed therapists in California (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) who are ready to deliver compassionate care virtually. As demand for our services continues to rise, we're expanding our team of mission-driven professionals who are committed to healing minds and improving lives.

This position supports hiring 100% remote within the U.S.

What You'll Do
  • Provide individual teletherapy sessions via secure video and phone.
  • Conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapeutic care.
  • Collaborate with a care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality service.
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical records in line with regulatory and company standards.
  • Support patients dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, and other mental health conditions using proven therapeutic approaches.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of best-in-class virtual care models.
  • Stay connected with our broader medical and product teams as we innovate new mental health solutions.


Required Qualifications
  • Experience providing independent, unsupervised therapy in a clinical setting.
  • Active license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) in California with eligibility to treat patients independently.
  • Experience using evidence-based practices, particularly for PTSD, depression, and anxiety disorders.
  • Master's degree (or higher) in Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited program.
  • Experience assessing, diagnosing and preparing treatment plans.
  • A strong sense of clinical judgment, empathy, and a genuine passion for improving mental wellness.
  • Comfortable with electronic health records (EHRs) and telehealth technology.
  • Willingness to obtain additional state licenses (we'll cover the cost).

The base salary for this position is $80,500($110,000 CA based providers).

In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2026. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.

You will accrue 8 hours of PTO per semi-monthly pay period. You will also receive 80 hours of Paid Sick, Safe, and Caregiver Leave annually. This applies to full-time positions only. If you are applying for a part-time role, your recruiter can provide additional details.
