Your Impact:
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and operation of cloud-native services and platform capabilities with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Write maintainable code primarily in Java or Python and participate in peer design and code reviews.
  • Implement well-defined features and resolve assigned bugs, technical debt, and security fixes under guidance.
  • Build unit, functional, and integration tests that support robust and resilient products.
  • Learn and apply Kubernetes, container, cloud, networking, and distributed-systems concepts.
  • Participate in the software development lifecycle, including requirements clarification, delivery, deployment, observability, and production support.
  • Communicate progress, questions, and risks clearly, keep stakeholders informed, and collaborate with engineering and product management.
  • Complete the role's baseline technical assessment and demonstrate curiosity, sound problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Your Toolkit:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant internship and co-op experience counts.
  • Foundational programming experience in Java, Python, or a comparable modern language through coursework, internships, co-ops, projects, or professional work.
  • Understanding of core software engineering concepts, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software testing.
  • Ability to apply basic problem-solving techniques, follow established guidelines, and learn professional concepts.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with teammates and project leaders.
  • Passion for software development, cybersecurity, and learning new technologies in a collaborative environment.
Bonus Points:
  • Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP at the API or programming level.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, Spring or similar ecosystems, Docker, Kubernetes, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
