You will be a great fit if you have experience similar to:
  • Manage the portfolio range to ensure long-term profitability for the company.
  • Collaborate on and manage new product introductions and product concepts, partnering with Breeding, Product Development and Sales.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to shape mid- and long-term breeding objectives and product specifications.
  • Develop and align product trial plans with breeders and regional product development teams based upon market knowledge and objectives. Assess trial results to determine product performance and life cycle.
  • Manage new product introductions in accordance with the strengths and weaknesses of existing product range, market potential, and competition pressure.
  • Create and maintain working relations with local internal and external product development resources in target markets.
  • Assume technical expertise by providing sales with technical data to support optimal product performance and sales.
  • Manage new seed product form development and introduction in collaboration with Seed Technology, Research, and Sales.
  • Manage the seed quantity needs for varieties under development, through collaborative efforts with Sales Managers in preparation for commercial launch. Work with inventory management teams to effectively and efficiently manage seed availability for varieties at the development stage.
  • Optimize turnover and margin across the product portfolio by setting new product pricing, aligning supply chain expectations with portfolio sales forecasts while actively monitoring portfolio health and rationalizing products to maintain a strong, profitable pipeline.
  • Maintain and improve product quality consistency via collaborative efforts between Production, Quality Control, Operations, Inventory Management and Seed Technology.
  • Coordinate with global business units to align product strategies and maximize portfolio sales.


What we expect of you

To be considered, you will need:
  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering or Science required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an agricultural related field or industry.
  • Ability to travel at least 30% of the time to domestic and international locations
  • Languages: English essential, Spanish a plus

o This position's range is $83,000 - $133,000
This role may be filled at different levels depending on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience. Compensation and title will be aligned accordingly. Our total compensation and pay ranges reflect our market pay structures. As such, individual salaries or hourly rates are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: local geographical market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as job related skills, education, and experience.
