POSITION SUMMARY

MEFPAK Facility Manager / EHS & HAZMAT Specialist to support the geographically dispersed PMI Center facility portfolio. This role coordinates facility assessments, maintenance and minor construction, real property, environmental health and safety, and HAZMAT/DOT requirements. Location for this work is Scott AFB, IL.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage facility assessments, maintenance work orders, minor construction coordination, corrective actions, costs, and monthly facility reporting across CONUS and OCONUS PMI Centers.
  • Develop and maintain facility life-cycle maintenance, repair, upgrade, chemical safety, ergonomics, injury-prevention, and building-safety processes.
  • Support real-property transactions, leasing, lease administration, utilities, asset management, occupant-capacity planning, and financial analysis.
  • Coordinate with base civil engineering, environmental, safety, contracting, and other agencies to resolve facility issues.
  • Serve as the PMI Center consultant for HAZMAT and Department of Transportation transportation requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience managing Government, healthcare, warehouse, industrial, or other regulated facilities across multiple locations.
  • Knowledge of EHS, facility assessment, maintenance planning, real property, utilities, and project coordination.
  • Current HAZMAT/DOT training or ability to complete required training before performing regulated duties.
  • Current Tier 3 investigation with Secret eligibility and enrollment in Continuous Vetting; ability to obtain and maintain interim or final Secret access, CAC, system access, and required Government training.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • USAF/DoD medical facility, DMLSS Facility Management, Business Objects, Drawbase, Joint Commission, NFPA, OSHA, or Corps of Engineers experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, environmental safety, logistics, or business; equivalent experience is acceptable.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS
  • Full-time, primarily onsite at Scott AFB, Illinois, during Government core hours of Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; short-notice schedule adjustments may be required.
  • Telework is not guaranteed and may be authorized only when the Government and contract permit situational telework.
  • The role may require CONUS/OCONUS temporary-duty travel for meetings, site surveys, training, exercises, testing, or mission support, including possible travel aboard DoD aircraft.

Salary Range: $53 - $67 per hour
