Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Physicist, this position provides physics support for Radiation Oncology department. Key responsibilities include weekly chart checking, acceptance, testing and commissioning of therapy hardware; and calibration and QA of therapy equipment.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Medical Physics or related major., Or
  • Ph.D. in Medical Physics or related major.
  • Upon hire: National Medical Physics - Therapeutic Certification - American Board of Radiology
  • 2 years Post-degree clinical experience or completion of a post-degree clinical medical physics residency.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
