Medical Director, Behavioral Health
Location: Dade City, FL

What You'll Do
• Provide psychiatric care for adults and children
• Lead, mentor, and support behavioral health providers
• Partner with the CMO and clinical leaders
• Strengthen integrated care, quality, and access
• Guide best practices and process improvement
• Support provider onboarding, retention, and growth
• Represent Premier's mission in the community

Qualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Licensed to practice medicine in Florida
• Board eligible or board certified
• Completed psychiatry residency
• 10 years of successful clinical practice experience
• Behavioral health leadership experience
Bonus Skills
• EHR or Epic experience
• Multi-provider practice experience
• FQHC or community health experience
• Eligible for hospital privileges
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift 20 lbs. regularly and 30-50 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Travel to PCHG sites and occasional conferences
• Direct exposure to computer screens
• May be exposed to contagious or infectious diseases
Background Screening Requirement:
This position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
