We are recruiting for a Full-Time Medical Day CareDirector of Nursing to join our skilled team of pediatric professionals in Northfield,NJ. This position is benefit eligible. POSITION SUMMARY:TheDirector of Nursing (DON) for the Pediatric Medical Day Care program isresponsible for the overall clinical management, supervision, and coordinationof nursing services provided to medically complex pediatric patients.
The DONensures that nursing services are delivered safely, effectively, and incompliance with:
• Facilitypolicies and procedures
• The New Jersey Nurse Practice Act
• NJ Department of Health Pediatric Medical Day Care regulations
• Department of Nursing standards
• Infection prevention and control policies
TheDirector of Nursing oversees clinical operations, supervises nursing staff,promotes quality improvement, ensures regulatory compliance, and supportsinterdisciplinary collaboration to deliver safe, family-centered pediatriccare.
POSITIONQUALIFICATIONS:- Current, unrestricted New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum three (3) years pediatric nursing experience within past 5 years
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Current CPR certification (BLS required; PALS within 1 year of hire date)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
