Minimum Qualifications Two years of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been at the supervisory level or above:
Eight years of social services experience; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field plus five years of social services experience; OR
A bachelor's degree plus five years of social services experience; OR
An advanced degree plus four years of social services experience.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:- Provide leadership and direct oversight of regional eligibility operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent processing of applications and renewals.
- Develop and execute short and long-term operational plans, establish priorities, and adjust staffing and workloads to respond to changing program needs.
- Supervise and develop Medicaid Area Managers and support their leadership of supervisory and eligibility staff, including setting performance expectations, providing feedback, and addressing development needs.
- Promote a strong team environment by building trust, encouraging collaboration, establishing clear goals, and holding staff accountable for results.
- Monitor quality assurance, performance metrics, error trends, and workload data to identify opportunities for improvement and develop corrective action strategies.
- Partner with Medicaid Area Managers, Medicaid Analyst Supervisors, and state leadership to resolve operational challenges, improve processes, and implement effective solutions across the region.
- Support regional budget, facilities, technology, safety, emergency response, and resource management to maintain effective day-to-day operations.
- Maintain expertise in Medicaid programs, policies, procedures, and systems, while supporting staff training, professional development, and continued operational readiness.
- Analyze operational data and prepare reports and recommendations to support informed decision-making and advance the mission of Eligibility Field Operations.
