  • Solid understanding of configuration management and application of design control tools in nuclear or complex industrial contexts.
  • Familiarity with nuclear reactor systems, high temperature pressure vessels, or equivalent design experience is preferable.
  • Knowledge of ASME Sect III Code is a plus.
  • CAD experience, especially with SolidWorks, is favored.
  • Strong skills in technical writing, communication, and presentations.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to technical excellence.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams with minimal supervision.
  • Skilled at managing competing project objectives and constraints.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks requiring interdisciplinary approaches.
  • Experience adhering to quality standards in design work, such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001.

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university and 5+ years direct experience with proven mechanical systems skills.
  • Experience with P6 schedule.
  • Agile Project Management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing design of complex mechanical systems and multi-discipline integration between principal and partner organizations.
  • Strong understanding of configuration management principles, as well as knowledge of design control tools application on nuclear or similar complex industrial applications.
  • Previous experience with nuclear reactors and systems, high temperature pressure vessels, or similar system design is highly desired.
  • Functional knowledge of the ASME Sect III Code, is highly desired.
  • Experience with CAD, SolidWorks preferred.
  • Excellent technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
