Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years as a superintendent in construction, preferably with a General Contractor or multi-trade contractor.
• Experience in Water/Wastewater, Food & Beverage, or Clean Energy projects.
• Strong asset: experience with digesters.
• Post-secondary education, CET or equivalent, or Red Seal Trade certification in a relevant field.
• Proficient in MS Office and Windows applications.
• Ability to manage complex project site operations over $20 million.
• Strong mechanical understanding.

Responsibilities

• Direct field operations to ensure projects meet schedules, budgets, safety, and risk management standards.
• Manage field employees by guiding and leading construction activities and fostering communication with project staff.
• Develop and implement project work plans to keep operations on track and budget-friendly.
• Provide senior-level oversight in the field, coaching staff and addressing issues as they arise.
• Review site labor needs, mentor staff, and engage in succession planning for future leadership.
• Oversee the completion of diverse projects, varying in size and scope while ensuring quality.
