Are you passionate about solving complex mechanical challenges through advanced analysis and data-driven engineering? As a Structural Integrity and Aeroelastic Analysis Engineer (f/m/d) at Siemens Energy Gas Turbine Engineering, you'll join a global team dedicated to ensuring the performance and reliability of our leading-edge turbine blades, vanes, and other critical components. Here, your skills in structural and aeromechanical analysis powered by advanced FEA and CFD methods will make a real impact by pushing boundaries and driving technologies that power the world.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Analyze turbomachinery components to meet performance, durability, and manufacturability requirements across the full lifecycle
  • Apply and enhance FEA and CFD modeling techniques to evaluate stresses, fatigue, and vibration behavior of the components under complex loading conditions
  • Validate and improve simulation methods and tools to support design optimization and robustness
  • Document analysis results and ensure compliance with established engineering standards and quality processes
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and operation teams to resolve production and field issues through design studies and root cause analysis
  • Leverage test and field data to refine analytical accuracy, including vibration response such as flutter and forced excitation
What You Bring
  • Advanced university degree (Master or higher) in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering
  • First years of professional experience. Applicants with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
  • Strong foundation in stress analysis, modal analysis, aeroelasticity, fatigue modeling, and material behavior
  • Proficient in FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS) and/or CFD-based aeroelastic simulations; programming skills are a plus
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers in the Charlotte, NC location. ECC required for the Orlando, FL location only.
