We are looking for a
Mechanical Engineer for our R&D / Product Development team at our Grand Prairie location.
You will make an impact by:
- Leading new product development for electrical equipment (Low Voltage Switchgear). Engineer innovative design concepts utilizing CREO. Create multiple design concepts & perform trade-off studies of those concepts to determine the optimal solutions.
- Being able to navigate through the unknown and actively seek out new knowledge to apply to projects.
- Planning and managing projects including scope of work, schedules, costs and completion dates.
- Preparing prototypes for design feasibility evaluation and testing. Prepare and execute test plans.
- Working with cross functional teams to drive projects to completion.
- Creating Part drawings, Material BOMs, Engineering Change Notices as they relate to product development, improvements and/or cost reductions.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - BSME
- 2 - 7 years' experience in new Product Development Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of Creo or similar 3d modelling software
- Strong working knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), product design and concept testing
- Hands-on prototyping experience
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: - Switchgear / Panelboard / Switchboard design experience
- Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience
- MSME

The pay range for this position is $75,684 - $158,263 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
