Mechanical Engineer - Pressure Vessel and Tank Design
Direct Hire | Onsite

Oxford Solutions is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our client's team in a full-time, onsite role. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on design work, solving complex technical challenges, and collaborating closely with fabrication teams. A current Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and review engineering calculations for pressure vessels, tanks, and related structures
  • Produce design drawings, 3D models, and fabrication packages using AutoCAD and Inventor
  • Develop, review, and maintain fabrication and assembly procedures in accordance with ASME, API, AWWA, and NFPA standards
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineers, drafters, fabrication, and field teams
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolve design-related issues during fabrication or installation
  • Communicate with clients, inspectors, and vendors to ensure technical accuracy and project alignment
