Surfx Technologies is a fast-growing company that offers atmospheric argon plasmas for the high-volume manufacturing of integrated circuits, semiconductor packages, printed circuit boards, and other microelectronic devices. These automated plasma machines are an excellent choice for surface cleaning, activation, and metal oxide removal. The Surfx team delivers this atmospheric argon plasma technology for assembled products that are less likely to corrode, delaminate, or come unglued during their lifetime. The Mechanical Engineer is perfect for an enthusiastic individual ready to join our engineering team and help bring innovative products from concept to production. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will contribute to the design, prototyping, testing, and optimization of complex electromechanical systems. Responsibilities- Communicate clear project status at every stage from PO entry to arrival at customer dock
- Experienced with software design and 3D CAD models
- Generate accurate 2D manufacturing drawings complete with dimensions, materials specifications, and geometric dimensioning
- Setting up physical tests (thermal, structural) to ensure success under real world conditions
- Build and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Execute Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to support continuous product improvements
Qualifications- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
- 0 - 3 years' experience
- Skilled in communication through global time zones
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
