Mechanical Engineer - Onsite coordination with all stakeholders incl. suppliers/vendor, agencies/ contractor etc.
- Site coordination for inputs and providing mark-up on layouts/drawings to offshore team
- Review /preparation of Equipment datasheets & specifications and RFQ and aligning with Client.
- Support in preparation of project schedule and aligning with Client
- Support in preparation of project status report and participation in daily/regular site meeting and design review meetings.
- Preparation of Tender document/SOW document
- Floating of enquiries, vendor offer review and preparation of TBA and supporting client in finalisation of vendors
- Follow-up vendors for delivery, conducting FAT/SAT
- Project execution including coordination with Site team, vendors and contractors for installation and commissioning
Troubleshooting/debugging during installation during installation & Commissioning
Skills:
- Should have good experience in onsite co-ordination with Client and all other stakeholders incl. vendors & agencies/contractors and support offshore team
- Experience in carrying out brownfield projects including analysing bottlenecks, identifying improvement options and aligning with Client
- Should have working experience in Static & Rotary equipment like tank farm, silos/hoppers, material transfer & handling equipments, Conveyors, Compressor, Boiler, Chiller, heat exchanger & cooling towers, Water treatment (RO& DM plant) etc.
- Exposure to Process & Utility piping, HVAC and Firefighting system
- Knowledge of hygienic standards & requirements
- Knowledge of generating of BOQ and Cost estimation.
- Evaluation of vendor offers and preparation of Technical Bid Analysis (TBA)
- Conducting FAT/SAT
- Experience in Project execution including coordination with Site team, vendors and contractors for installation and commissioning
- Troubleshooting/debugging during installation during installation & Commissioning
- Project planning, monitoring and execution
- Knowledge of all applicable local Codes & Standards.
- Working experience/exposure to FMCG (Home care, Personal Care incl. Soap, Food & Ice- cream and Beverage plants)
- Effective communication skills
