Qualifications

Full Job Description
Job/Position Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical products for data center applications.
  • Perform electrical calculations, component selection, cable sizing, and wiring schematic development.
  • Design UL-compliant control panels and integrate motors, VFDs, transformers, and protection devices.
  • Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks and PLM systems.
  • Implement engineering changes (ECO/ECM) and support product design lifecycle activities.
  • Collaborate with global teams, manufacturing, vendors, and customers to resolve design issues.
  • Support prototype builds, testing, design verification (DVP/DVR), and product validation.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, or Electrical Design Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with SolidWorks for 3D modeling, drawings, and product documentation.
  • Experience in electrical product design, control panels, power distribution systems, or data center infrastructure products.
  • Knowledge of electrical components, motor controls, VFDs, transformers, protection devices, wiring schematics, and cable sizing.
  • Experience with CAD, BOM management, PLM systems, and Engineering Change Management processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, manufacturing support, and product validation skills.
