Saturn has an opportunity for a full-time
Measurement Coordinator based out of Calgary, Alberta. Reporting to the Supervisor, Measurement & Volumetrics, the Measurement Coordinator will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance of the hydrocarbon measurement for our Western Canadian assets.
Some specific duties, and responsibilities of the Measurement Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee measurement data integrity, including maintaining measurement schematics, annual compliance tracking and integration with Production Reporting, Production Accounting and Fuel, Flare, Vent database
- Manage and coordinate meter calibration and proving database, including reviewing reports, compliance tracking, schedule optimization, and training 3rd party vendors
- Manage gas and liquid sampling program, including reviewing reports, compliance tracking, schedule optimization, and timely analysis updates into RTUs and regulatory programs
- Coordinate the Enhanced Production Audit Program (EPAP) including data gathering, control effectiveness review, audit submission and correspondence with regulators
- Provide technical expertise and guidance with regulations, measurement compliance, industry trends and technologies to enhance measurement accuracy
- Identify and coordinate measurement applications to improve operational efficiency
- Interface with operations, engineering, production accounting, production reporting and service companies on all measurement system issues
- Assist with Regulatory inquiries, inspections and compliance reporting
- Additional responsibilities as required
Candidates for this position will possess the following qualifications and competencies:
- 7-10+ years of measurement related experience in the petroleum industry
- Strong understanding of measurement regulations and standards
- Ability to communicate and present technical measurement information clearly and effectively
- Working knowledge of EPAP, production accounting and production reporting processes
- Self-motivated, professional team player with strong attention to detail, and proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects successfully
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to make occasional trips to the field
- Software experience with ProTrend, ProMonitor, ProdView, Excel and Power BI is an asset
