Job Summary- Seeking an Agile Developer / Test Automation Engineer to support complex Government test and evaluation efforts in an Agile engineering environment
- The successful candidate will analyze system requirements, concepts of operations, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop and execute test plans and procedures, collect and analyze test data, and report status and results
- This role will also support development of formal Government T&E documentation and coordinate with external test organizations to ensure integrated test execution
Primary Responsibilities- Analyze system requirements, CONOPS, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to define test objectives and evaluation approaches
- Develop test plans, procedures, scripts, and automated test capabilities
- Prepare for and conduct data collection, test execution, and results analysis
- Document test status, findings, risks, defects, and recommendations
- Support development of Government T&E documentation, including:
- T&E Strategy
- Test & Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP)
- Event Test Plans
- Test Readiness Assessments
- T&E Reports
- Coordinate with Government and external test organizations to support integrated T&E activities
- Tailor test methods and automation approaches to system function, maturity, performance objectives, and mission requirements
- Support Agile development teams by integrating test activities throughout the development lifecycle
- Develop and maintain automated functional, API, regression, performance, accessibility, and end-to-end tests
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, defect resolution, test readiness reviews, and release-readiness activities
Required Qualifications- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university and at least nine (9) years of relevant test experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity; or
- Master's degree in a related discipline and at least seven (7) years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing formal test plans and procedures
- Experience analyzing requirements and translating them into test cases and evaluation criteria
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting test results
- Experience supporting formal Government T&E documentation and test events
- Candidates should have experience with at least two of the following:
- Cucumber / Gherkin
- Playwright
- JMeter
- Swagger or similar API testing tools
- Selenium
- Cypress
- Section 508 accessibility testing tools such as JAWS or NVDA
Desired Qualifications- Agile/Scrum or DevSecOps development environments
- CI/CD pipeline integration and automated testing
- API, functional, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing
- Requirements traceability and test evidence management
- Accessibility testing and Section 508 compliance validation
- Collaboration with Government T&E, development, cybersecurity, and operational test organizations
Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The pay range for this role is:
165,000 - 185,000 USD per year (NBP)
