We're looking for a Managing Veterinarian who wants to remain hands-on clinically while helping mentor fellow doctors, support medical excellence, and foster a collaborative team culture. Essential ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do- Provide high-quality medical and surgical care for feline patients, including wellness exams, diagnostics, dentistry, treatment planning, and surgery
- Lead by example, helping establish and maintain the highest standards of feline medicine and patient care
- Mentor and support associate veterinarians through collaboration, coaching, and professional development
- Partner with hospital leadership to support medical excellence, practice performance, and team success
- Build lasting client relationships through preventive care education, treatment recommendations, and compassionate end-of-life guidance
- Foster a positive, collaborative culture that supports exceptional patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and medical standards
Requirements/QualificationsRequirements- Experienced Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited program
- Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship skills
- Collaborative, positive, and team-oriented approach to patient care
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed
