The Opportunity:

We're looking for a detail-oriented MDS Coordinator to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you'll ensure accurate and timely MDS assessments, review PDPM classifications, and support staff with up-to-date Medicare guidelines. If you have a strong clinical background and a passion for quality care and compliance, we'd love to connect!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review clinical documentation and hospital records to ensure completeness and compliance with CMS regulations.
  • Review and validate Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) information for accuracy and reimbursement optimization.
  • Evaluate the quality of care being provided to long-term care residents through detailed assessment and documentation.
  • Complete MDS assessments and ensure their accuracy and timely submission in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid criteria and serve as a reliable resource for nursing staff.
  • Communicate regulatory changes and provide guidance and training as needed.
  • Monitor Medicare assessment schedules and nursing documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
