Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients both in-office and via telemedicine.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
  • Interpret and document findings from in-house imaging.
  • Order necessary imaging, lab work, and referrals as needed.
  • Perform interventional procedures to manage pain effectively.
  • Prescribe non-opioid medications when appropriate for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system.
  • Participate in rare after-hours or weekend call coverage for patient needs.

Practice Setting
  • Physician-led practice
  • Multidisciplinary orthopedic and pain management model

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat guests in-office and via telemedicine
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Interpret and document in-house imaging
  • Order appropriate imaging, labs, and referrals
  • Perform interventional pain procedures
  • Prescribe non-opioid medications when clinically appropriate
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
  • Participate in rare after-hours or weekend call coverage

APP Oversight & Leadership
  • Provide clinical oversight of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
  • Meet weekly with APPs to review clinical and operational data
  • Conduct quarterly performance and goal-setting meetings
  • Perform monthly chart reviews in accordance with Texas Medical Board guidelines

Operational & Service Line Collaboration
  • Participate in monthly clinic operations meetings with managers, APPs, and MAs
  • Meet weekly with the procedure scheduling team to review outstanding orders
  • Collaborate weekly and quarterly with DOC leadership to:
    • Review service-line performance metrics
    • Identify opportunities to improve access, efficiency, and outcomes
