Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician Medical Director in Denver, CO

Responsibilities

Obstetrix of Colorado, part of Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Medical Director to join our well-established practice providing care to several clinics in the Denver metro area and delivery sites: Swedish Medical Center and Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center (Level IV NICU).

Maternal-Fetal Medicine Medical Director details:
  • Establish, implement, and maintain evidence-based clinical protocols and best practices
  • Promote a culture of patient safety, quality improvement, and clinical excellence
  • Serve as a clinical resource to obstetric providers, hospital leadership, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Lead and oversee the daily operations of the MFM program, ensuring efficiency, access to care, and quality outcomes
  • Collaborate with hospital and health system leadership on strategic planning, program development, and service line growth

  • Full-Service Practice: Averages 650-700 annual deliveries at two hospitals and 600 maternal transports per year.
  • Research and Education: Our practice is deeply involved in research and education, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy learning and being mentored by seasoned Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians.
  • Cutting-Edge Technology: Our physicians stay current on the latest technology and are recognized for being at the forefront of Maternal-Fetal Medicine services and high risk care.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work closely with OB hospitalists who are also part of Pediatrix Medical Group in Denver, CO.
  • Comprehensive Support: Most Neonatal Intensive Care Units are covered by our affiliated group of neonatologists, with a full range of pediatric subspecialty support, including ground and air transport teams.

Benefits and Compensation

$600,000.00 annual salary, $50,000.00 Leadership Stipend + RVU based incentive compensation plan. $100K sign-on bonus + $15K relocation.

Call Compensation in addition to salary: $73,750.00 | 20 weekday call shifts/5 weekend call shifts per year. Extra call shifts paid at $125.00/hour.
