About the Role:

The Master Scheduler plays a critical role in the manufacturing industry by developing, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while maximizing resource utilization. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, sales, and customer service to align schedules with customer demand and inventory levels. The Master Scheduler is responsible for managing customer accounts by understanding their requirements and translating them into actionable production plans. By proactively identifying potential scheduling conflicts and bottlenecks, the role ensures smooth workflow and minimizes downtime. Ultimately, the Master Scheduler drives operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by balancing competing priorities and adapting to changing business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in production scheduling or master scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and customer account management.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).
  • Experience with ERP systems such as M1, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Advanced data analysis skills and experience using business intelligence tools.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with complex scheduling needs.
