What you'll do...
Role summary:
The (USA) Master Plumber, Facility Services, is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of plumbing systems within facilities. This role involves diagnosing complex plumbing issues, designing solutions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations. The position serves as a technical expert and mentor, providing guidance to maintenance teams and coordinating with contractors. The Master Plumber supports operational excellence by managing work orders, maintaining documentation, and responding promptly to emergency situations, all while upholding safety and quality standards.
What you'll do:
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, facilities, and equipment following established schedules and safety protocols.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and resolve complex plumbing issues using blueprints, manuals, and technical expertise.
  • Design and plan solutions for large-scale plumbing repairs and modifications ensuring compliance with all applicable codes.
  • Lead and mentor Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers, providing technical guidance and training on plumbing techniques and safety.
  • Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts procurement, and contractor coordination to ensure timely and quality completion.
  • Respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotations supporting critical business needs.

  • Proven expertise in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of water supply, waste disposal, and gas lines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
  • Ability to diagnose complex plumbing issues using blueprints, repair manuals, and technical resources.
  • Experience leading and mentoring plumbing and maintenance teams, providing technical guidance and training.
  • Strong skills in preventive maintenance, emergency response, and documentation of maintenance activities.
  • Proficiency in managing work orders, contractor coordination, and parts procurement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $35.00 - $70.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
