  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Business Management.
  • Previous experience in a shipyard or maritime setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and coordinate plans and schedules for new or existing programs.
  • Determine, monitor, and review manpower requirements for projects.
  • Analyze project impacts on Engineering, Facilities, and labor resources.
  • Formulate and recommend corrective actions for schedule and manpower adjustments.
  • Allocate funds and redefine work requirements based on project demands.

Job Description

This position is eligible for the 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off or the standard 5/40 schedule.

Prepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for new or existing programs. Determines, monitors, and reviews manpower requirements. Analyzes effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources. Formulates and recommends corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements.

Required Skills and Education

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience.
Microsoft Project, Open Plan and/or P6 software experience required.

Preferred Skills and Education

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Business Management.
Previous shipyard/maritime experience.
