  • Ensure consistent terminology and datasets to maintain data integrity.
  • Oversee compliance with data standards and manage risk assessments.
  • Track KPIs and work with Data Steward Leads to resolve data quality issues.

Within Pharma Technical Operations (PT), we catalyze the global development and execution of PT’s Digital and Operational Excellence strategy, aiming to activate data citizenship, revolutionize our FAIR data ecosystem, and generate transformative insights. The Opportunity
  • Serve as a key subject matter expert to define, support, and execute master data standards across assigned PT domains in alignment with global Pharma value chain requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with PT and IT stakeholders to map the data landscape, identify critical gaps, and establish unified data standards.

  • Partner with Data Stewards, System Owners, and Data Product teams to guide the accurate implementation of global standards in site-specific systems and local initiatives.

  • Document and maintain comprehensive data lineage, data catalogs, and data dictionaries to meet stringent regulatory, CMO, and end-user access requirements.

  • Maintain consistent terminology and reference datasets across PT platforms to ensure continuous data integrity and high-quality data health.

  • Oversee compliance with established data standards, evaluating deviation reports, performing impact assessments, and escalating systemic risks to leadership.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and work alongside Data Steward Leads to mitigate data quality issues and resolve standards gaps across source systems.

Who You Are
  • You bring 10+years of experience in a master data standards, data governance, or data management role, ideally within a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, or a related technical discipline.

  • You possess proven expertise in applying and maintaining master, transactional, and reference data standards across complex enterprise system landscapes.

  • You demonstrate a strong grasp of data governance principles, paired with proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL to interrogate datasets and detect quality patterns.

  • You are familiar with modern data cataloging and quality solutions (e.g., Collibra, Monte Carlo, Ataccama) and bring valuable exposure to cloud environments such as AWS or Snowflake.

  • You have exceptional communication skills with a proven talent for explaining technical data standards clearly to diverse business stakeholders.

  • You are a detail-oriented, self-directed professional who excels at delivering accurate documentation while working independently toward strategic organizational goals.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 136,936.00 and 179,728.50 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
