Master Data Management Senior Enablement Expert

Location: Franklin, TN (BRN)

Are you ready to unleash your passion for data to drive strategic business impact? As our Master Data Management (MDM) Senior Enablement Expert, you will serve as a vital bridge between business strategy and data excellence. Based in our dynamic Franklin, TN Hub, you'll act as a trusted advisor and the primary point of contact for key stakeholders across our fast-growing US Pet Nutrition segment. In this role, your work will directly optimize business processes, elevate system capabilities, and resolve critical master data challenges-ensuring we have the robust foundations needed to build a better world for pets.

In this highly collaborative and influential role, you won't just manage data-you'll shape how we utilize it. You will lead the design and implementation of master data strategies, data models, and governance policies across diverse domains. By piloting state-of-the-art tools and guiding cross-functional counterparts across both Business and IT, you will turn complex data into a competitive advantage and a powerful engine for organizational growth.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a collaborative, forward-thinking Associate who blends deep curiosity with exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Management, Supply Chain, or a related field (equivalent practical experience in enterprise data or business operations is also highly valued).
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, Business Analysis, or a closely related technical/functional field; 2+ years of experience specifically leading cross-functional projects, managing complex stakeholder relationships, or acting as a workstream lead.
  • Interpersonal Communication & Influence: Strong interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to influence others positively. You excel at building trusted working relationships across diverse groups within Mars to align priorities and deliver outcomes.
  • Strategic Project Leadership: A seasoned professional capable of leading MDM-focused projects and serving as the Master Data workstream lead on high-impact, segment-driven initiatives.
  • Curiosity & Process Innovation: A natural problem-solver who excels at challenging existing processes and assumptions. You foster collaborative innovation across teams, use well-reasoned arguments to influence strategic decisions, and champion a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Organizational Agility: A deep understanding of MDM operations and familiarity with Mars Global Services (MGS). Prior experience maneuvering within or holding existing relationships inside the US Pet Nutrition organization is highly valued.

What will be your key responsibilities?
  • MDM Services Point of Contact: Serve as one of two primary Senior Enablement Experts in Franklin, acting as the key technical and strategic contact for US Pet Nutrition. You'll answer master data questions, solve business-segment queries, and consult on the master data implications of new projects. (Requires: Interpersonal Communication, Stakeholder Engagement, Organizational Agility & Understanding)
  • Business Needs Expert: Develop a deep command of US Pet Nutrition business needs. You will partner with critical functions-including Supply Chain, Project Management, and R&D-to translate business needs into initiatives focused on improving processes, optimizing systems, and enhancing data quality. (Requires: Questioning/Challenging, Business Systems Knowledge, Business Process Knowledge)
  • Converting Business Needs to Value Creation: Design, launch, and execute value-creation projects that support the US Pet Nutrition business (and other segments as needed), managing deliverables both individually and by rallying Mars Associates and external contractors.
