Full Job Description
Leidos Health & Services Sector is seeking a Marriage and Family Counselor to provide referral services and expert consultation on various Employee Assistance Program and work/life issues for the government customer's staff and contractor personnel. This is a very rewarding and challenging opportunity supporting our Military and Intelligence men and women and the challenges they face.

Work will be on site in either Chantilly, VA or McLean, VA *location to be determined by staffing need.

Leidos will consider sponsoring qualified individuals towards gaining the Top Secret/SCI with Poly security clearance required for this position.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, diagnose and treat psychological, behavioral and mental health issues related to families, couples or marriages, to include providing guidance and mediation to help address issues within a family unit
  • Address problems independently and autonomously, formulate and implement a treatment plan using treatment modalities for individuals and families, including documenting and briefing clinical findings.
  • Provide evidence-based brief psychotherapy, and consult with management and other medical staff.


Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or social work.
  • Completion of 2,000 to 4,000 supervised clinical hours, typically acquired through a practicum or internship.
  • State licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • 3 years of post-licensure/certification experience
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) experience
  • US Citizenship required
  • Top Secret with SCI polygraph clearance OR candidates that are willing to go through the process of obtaining the clearance may be considered.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
