Purpose:Athene is seeking an innovative and motivated professional to join our collaborative Marketing team that uses data & insights to inform strategic & targeted marketing campaigns. In this role, you'll support the administration & maintenance of marketing data, audiences, and campaign lists that enable the execution of targeted, effective programs.
Accountabilities:- Oversee and participate in the collection, management, and dissemination of internal & external data to support Marketing campaign & database initiatives.
- Create, manage, and audit audience lists and segments for email, direct mail, call, event, and advertising campaigns.
- Gather requirements and selection criteria, and where appropriate make recommendations for audience targeting and segmentation.
- Ensure all campaign lists are compliant with the applicable marketing preferences & restrictions of each distribution partner.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges around data & list management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to generate ideas and recommendations that combine analytical, marketing, and business thinking.
- Maintain detailed documentation for all processes, including management of a marketing data dictionary.
- Support analysis and reporting of digital marketing & media initiatives
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities or projects.
- Identify, define, and implement new process improvement opportunities, where applicable.
- Strong understanding of data governance to ensure best practices are followed relating to business intelligence deployment, delivery, and security.
Qualifications and Experience:- Bachelor's degree (Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, or Business) or equivalent along with 4+ years of relevant experience required.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with relational databases with ability to merge and analyze data from various sources and of differing formats.
- Data mining experience in coding SQL with a minimum of 3 years using analytical tools.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or another data visualization tool.
- Experience with various marketing analytics tools and measures including Google Analytics, CRM & CDP platforms, and traditional and digital media performance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a variety of projects and tasks simultaneously and deliver solutions on time and within requirements.
- Experience incorporating AI, such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot into data & analytics workflows
