About the Role
The Marketing Retention Analyst will work alongside the broader marketing and BI teams to help identify areas of opportunity to drive business growth. They will support a culture of data driven decision making, provide actionable insights and recommendations as well as identify key opportunities and efficiencies within marketing. The ideal candidate will be a motivated analytical thinker who thrives in fast pace, collaborative environments to inform key business decisions.
Responsibilities- Responsible for delivery of actionable insights and analysis in response to key business questions
- Support the key Brand and Marketing teams, providing day-to-day reporting and analytics
- Analyze data from both internal and external sources to support business objectives
- Provide campaign analysis and enable data driven marketing decisions across the marketing teams
- Handle both day-to-day reactive operational requirements and larger complex projects while being able to meet deadlines
- Build and maintain datasets, reports and dashboards
Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in analytical field
- 2+ years commercial experience in analytics, business intelligence or data science
- Advanced use and understanding of SQL
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with programming language (e.g., Python, R)
- Experience utilizing viz tools like Power BI and Tableau (Power BI and DAX experience is preferred)
- Experience driving actionable insights from data and presenting recommendations to key stakeholders
- Experience working with large and sometimes incomplete and complex data sets
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage several internal and external stakeholder expectations while working towards deadlines
- Business standard use of the English language
- Demonstrate basic understanding of the media landscape, common marketing platforms, and online & offline marketing data and marketing analytics
- Demonstrate basic understanding of marketing attribution models
- Basic understanding of Market Mix Modelling
- Basic understanding of sports betting in United States
The annual salary range for this position is $72,320 to $95,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan. Applicants must possess legal authorization to work for our company in the U.S. without the need for immigration sponsorship. At this time, this role is not eligible for immigration-related employment authorization sponsorship including H-1B, O-1, E-3, TN, OPT, etc.
Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies.
