Full Job Description
As the Marketing Manager, Respiratory Diseases, you will play an important role in advancing Cepheid’s respiratory portfolio across the U.S. region by supporting high‑impact marketing execution and contributing to commercial growth initiatives.  Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager of Respiratory Diseases to support product marketing execution for assigned segments of the portfolio in the U.S. This role is responsible for contributing to the execution of marketing strategies that support growth, innovation, and customer engagement across the region.  As an individual contributor supporting the respiratory diseases portfolio, you will manage defined components of go‑to‑market plans, product launches, and demand generation campaigns. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including Global Product Management, Sales, Medical Affairs, and R&D, to ensure marketing activities are aligned to market needs and portfolio priorities. You will develop working knowledge of assigned disease areas and support portfolio differentiation by contributing to value messaging and stakeholder engagement.  This position is part of the Customer Activation and Americas Marketing organization and focuses on supporting positioning, messaging, demand generation, campaign execution, and market development efforts for Cepheid’s core infectious diseases products.  This position reports to the Sr. Director of US Marketing and will be fully remote.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to:  • Support execution of integrated U.S. marketing plans for assigned Respiratory products or programs, aligned to portfolio strategy and business objectives.   • Contribute to positioning, messaging, and customer engagement efforts for designated disease areas.  • Support regional product launches by coordinating assigned launch activities and cross‑functional inputs to ensure readiness and effective execution.  • Assist with demand generation initiatives across digital and traditional channels to drive awareness and adoption.  • Partner with Sales, Medical Affairs, and Global Marketing to develop and update field enablement tools, training materials, and customer‑facing content. The essential requirements of the job include:   • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant professional experience.  • Experience supporting product marketing, portfolio marketing, or go‑to‑market initiatives within regulated healthcare, diagnostics, medical devices, or life sciences.   • Experience working on cross‑functional projects in a matrixed organization.   • Exposure to integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., digital, field, events).   • Ability to analyze market, customer, or performance insights and translate them into recommendations for marketing execution.  Travel Requirements:   • Ability to travel up to 40%, including occasional overnight travel, as business needs require.  It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:  • Exposure to respiratory disease areas, diagnostics, or molecular diagnostics through campaign support, product support, or launch participation.  • Participation in cross‑functional product launches or go‑to‑market initiatives within a regulated healthcare environment.   • Familiarity with sales enablement tools, CRM platforms, or marketing performance analytics used to support commercial teams.  Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
