Job Description

The Marketing Manager collaborates with on-property Marketing teams and Sales Leadership to drive operational efficiencies, increase tour flow, and improve revenue opportunities for Hilton Grand Vacations. This role focuses on engaging current Owners and Guests through effective marketing strategies, team leadership, and performance management.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing site initiatives, leading a team of marketing professionals, supervising performance metrics, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This individual serves as a key business partner to Sales Leadership and acts as a champion for team development, accountability, and results.

Our Marketing Manager will work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.

As a Manager Marketing, you will be responsible for :
  • Lead and develop on-property marketing initiatives designed to achieve sales, tour, and service objectives.
  • Recruit, train, coach, mentor, and empower team members to improve individual and team performance.
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and revenue growth.
  • Partner closely with Sales Leadership and other operational collaborators to align business goals and get results.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external guests regarding marketing activities and guest engagement programs.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of local attractions, events, partnerships, restaurants, and activities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Supervise and analyze individual and team performance metrics, ensuring alignment with site and company goals.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate performance reports, forecasts, and productivity tracking for leadership review.
  • Present departmental results, program effectiveness, incentive performance, and staffing updates to management.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions and monthly performance reviews with team members and team leaders.
  • Address performance concerns in accordance with company policies and Human Resources guidelines.
  • Lead staffing schedules and operational coverage to support business needs.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Support special projects, initiatives, and additional responsibilities as assigned by management.


Qualifications

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of people management experience and/or experience leading teams within a sales or marketing environment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of timeshare industry experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting that emphasizes performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and achieve business objectives.
  • Confirmed ability to effectively lead schedules and staffing for larger teams.
  • Experience resolving guest concerns and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.


It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Two (2) or more years of people management experience and/or leadership experience in a sales or marketing environment.
  • Previous Timeshare Marketing experience with Hilton Grand Vacations.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write Japanese.
  • Strong knowledge of the Hawaii tourism, hospitality, and vacation ownership markets.
