This senior-level role expands on traditional marketing leadership by bringing advanced expertise in digital media - including video production, social media strategy, and AI-assisted content tools - together with people leadership, process improvement, and strategic product launch management. The Marketing Manager directly supports the Process Group and Equipment & Services Group with integrated marketing programs, manages outside vendors and agencies, and serves as a key driver of brand consistency and marketing effectiveness across the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Leadership & Process Management- Lead, mentor, and manage marketing department personnel, including scheduling, performance reviews, workload guidance, and personnel matters.
- Involvement with strategic product launches in partnership with Product Management, Sales, and Engineering, managing cross-functional timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
- Direct and oversee development of marketing materials including brochures, video, electronic media, public relations, advertising, tradeshows, and internet-based marketing - by partnering with internal and external resources on concept development, planning, design, implementation, and distribution.
- Prepare and manage the annual marketing budget, monitor expenses, and evaluate program performance and ROI.
Digital Media, Social Media & Advertising- Plan, produce, and curate engaging content across all corporate social media platforms.
- Manage video production projects from concept through final edit, including product demonstrations, training content, and promotional media.
- Evaluate and apply AI-powered marketing and content tools to improve content development, campaign targeting, and team productivity.
- Manage corporate websites, online training programs, and other digital properties to ensure content accuracy and brand alignment.
Events, Communications & Brand Management- Manage the planning, scheduling, and execution of the corporate seminar program, domestic and international tradeshows, corporate events, and sales training meetings.
- Facilitate and manage intellectual property matters related to trademarks and copyrights, including research, applications, renewals, and internal communications.
knowledge, skills and abilities- Proven experience managing and developing digital advertising campaigns across major social media and search platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook/Meta, Instagram, YouTube, Google Ads).
- Familiarity with AI-assisted marketing platforms and tools, and the ability to evaluate and integrate new technologies into marketing workflows.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience, with the ability to coach, direct, and develop marketing staff.
- Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives such as product launches.
- Excellent writing, editing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with web-editing, graphics/imaging, is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Travel as required in support of seminars, tradeshows and corporate events.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESDirectly supervises marketing department staff including Sr. Marketing Specialist and Marketing Assistant.
WORK ENVIRONMENTUsual office working conditions with moderate noise from computers, printers, telephones, and copy machines. Periodic travel to tradeshows, seminars, and partner/client sites is required, along with occasional after-hours commitments for events and business functions outside standard office hours.
Minimum qualificationsBachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of related marketing experience, including demonstrated experience in traditional marketing, digital media, social media, advertising, and team leadership, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
