Marketing Director - Automotive Dealership

Our automotive dealership is looking for a dynamic and organized Marketing Director to enhance our online presence and engage with our community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for curating and managing content that reflects our brand, showcases our vehicles, and promotes our services.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, create and manage social media content across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to promote dealership offerings
  • Be a liason between our advertising agency and our company and brand ensuring effective communication with the team and success of marketing efforts
  • Track analytics and prepare performance reports, adjusting strategies based on insights
  • Online reputation management including responding to customer inquiries, comments and reviews
  • Create digital and print marketing materials
  • Manage Google Business Profiles for the dealership in order to improve SEO and visibility
  • Manage employee marketing materials such as headshots, nametages and business cards
  • Work with website platform to ensure efficient and optimized performance that aligns with company's goals
  • Maintain community health partnerships. This includes coordinating, planning and marketing events in partnership with other nonprofits and businesses
  • Create and distribute a quarterly newsletter
  • Review and respond to sponsorship and community requests
  • Organize employee and community programs and events
  • Stay up to date on automotive trends, social media tools, and platform updates

Requirements
  • Experience managing social media platforms for businesses, ideally within the automotive industry
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling posts and responses
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Understanding of automotive industry trends and customer engagement best practices
  • Creative thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in social media management, ideally within a dealership or automotive-related environment
  • Basic photography or graphic design skills (experience with tools like Canva or Adobe Spark is a plus)
