Full Job Description
Build the digital engine behind a 35+ year electrical, lighting, construction, and infrastructure company.

Lighting Maintenance Inc. (LMI) is seeking a hands-on, data-driven Marketing & Digital Optimization Manager to lead the next phase of our digital presence and marketing strategy. This role is designed for a marketer who can connect creative execution with measurable business outcomes - strengthening our website, expanding organic search visibility, managing paid campaigns, building content, growing social media, improving lead capture, and giving leadership clear visibility into marketing performance.

This is not a social-media-only position. You will own and optimize LMI's broader digital marketing ecosystem and help build the systems that connect marketing activity to business development and sales opportunities.

What You Will Own

  • Website strategy and optimization: evaluate and improve website structure, messaging, service pages, landing pages, calls-to-action, forms, mobile experience, and conversion paths.
  • Website content creation: write and update customer-focused website copy, project spotlights, case studies, service content, landing pages, leadership content, recruiting content, and campaign assets.
  • SEO strategy: conduct keyword research, optimize on-page content and metadata, improve internal linking, strengthen local search visibility, monitor rankings, identify technical SEO issues, and build content around priority services and markets.
  • PPC and paid media: plan, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, retargeting, display, and other relevant B2B channels.
  • Paid campaign optimization: manage keywords, audiences, bids, budgets, negative keywords, ad copy, landing pages, conversion tracking, A/B tests, and performance improvements.
  • Social media: develop a consistent strategy and content calendar across relevant channels; create content around projects, employees, safety, culture, recruiting, customer value, and company milestones.
  • Web-based media and digital presence: manage online listings, Google Business Profiles, industry directories, digital reputation, review-generation initiatives, and brand consistency across platforms.
  • Lead generation and conversion: improve lead capture, source tracking, routing, marketing-to-sales visibility, and conversion performance.
  • Sales enablement: create capability statements, service brochures, proposal materials, presentations, case studies, project portfolios, email campaigns, and customer-facing digital assets.
  • Analytics and reporting: build dashboards and recurring reports that explain performance, trends, ROI, and recommended next actions to leadership.
  • Vendor and budget management: help evaluate marketing vendors, agency relationships, technology, media spend, and opportunities to improve cost effectiveness.

How Performance Will Be Measured

We are looking for a marketer who is comfortable being accountable to measurable results. Core metrics may include:

  • Website traffic, traffic sources, engagement, landing-page performance, form submissions, and website conversion rate.
  • Organic traffic, keyword rankings, search impressions, click-through rate, local visibility, and organic conversions.
  • Paid media spend, impressions, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, cost per lead, cost per qualified lead, and campaign ROI.
  • Marketing-generated leads, qualified leads, lead-source attribution, lead-to-opportunity conversion, and lead-to-customer visibility.
  • Social reach, engagement, follower growth, referral traffic, content performance, and video/content engagement.
  • Performance of case studies, service content, downloadable assets, email campaigns, and other sales-enablement materials.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, demand generation, marketing operations, growth marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or optimizing company websites and digital conversion paths.
  • Strong working knowledge of SEO, keyword strategy, on-page optimization, local search, and organic content development.
  • Hands-on experience managing PPC or paid digital campaigns and using performance data to optimize results.
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Ads, and/or comparable analytics and advertising platforms.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content-development skills with the ability to translate technical services into clear customer-facing messaging.
  • Experience developing social media strategy and creating content for multiple channels.
  • Ability to build dashboards, analyze marketing performance, identify trends, and communicate findings to executive leadership.
  • Experience with CRM, marketing automation, CMS, design, or reporting platforms such as HubSpot, WordPress, Canva, Adobe, Looker Studio, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Experience That Will Stand Out

Experience marketing technical, operational, or B2B services is highly valued, including work within:
  • Electrical contracting, construction, infrastructure, engineering, facilities services, manufacturing, skilled trades, government contracting, or other B2B service organizations.
  • Organizations where marketing supports both brand visibility and direct sales/business-development growth.
  • Companies where the marketer has helped build or improve the marketing function, rather than only maintaining established campaigns.

What Success Can Look Like in the First Year
  • Complete a comprehensive audit of LMI's website, search visibility, paid media, social channels, digital listings, content, lead capture, and reporting.
  • Create a prioritized marketing roadmap with measurable quarterly goals and KPIs.
  • Improve website messaging, user experience, conversion paths, and campaign landing pages.
  • Increase qualified organic visibility for priority services and markets.
  • Launch and optimize targeted PPC campaigns with reliable conversion tracking and performance reporting.
  • Establish a consistent, high-quality social and content strategy that showcases LMI's expertise, projects, people, and culture.
  • Create stronger attribution between marketing activity, qualified leads, sales opportunities, and business-development outcomes.
  • Build a leadership dashboard that clearly answers: What happened? Why? What should we change? Where should we invest next?

Why LMI?

This is an opportunity to help shape a marketing function inside an established company at an important stage of growth. You will have direct visibility with leadership, access to real projects and technical expertise, and the ability to influence how LMI presents itself in the marketplace. If you enjoy building, testing, measuring, and improving - and want your work tied to real business results - we want to hear from you.

Apply to join Lighting Maintenance Inc. and help build the next phase of LMI's digital growth strategy.

Work location and travel expectations will be discussed during the recruiting process based on business needs.
