Position Title: Marketing Coordinator
Employment Type: Exempt
Work Location: On-site, Burbank, CA.
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00

Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is a strategic operational role that serves as the hub of Luckyscent's marketing execution. This position requires both technical marketing expertise and exceptional project management skills. You'll manage our annual paid media in partnership with our digital agency, oversee influencer programs, coordinate vendors and creative partners, and ensure flawless campaign execution across all channels.

The ideal candidate brings strong paid digital media knowledge (Google Ads, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and others), understands how to leverage AI tools for marketing efficiency, and excels at translating strategy into action. You'll work closely with the Director of Marketing and serve as the primary day-to-day contact for our digital agency partner.

Key Responsibilities:

Paid Media Management & Agency Partnership
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for the digital agency managing monthly paid media spend
  • Monitor daily performance across Google Ads, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest - flag issues and opportunities
  • Review and provide strategic input on agency recommendations and testing roadmaps
  • Coordinate creative asset delivery and ensure campaigns launch on schedule
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide insights on ROAS, CPA, conversion rates, and attribution
  • Manage campaign budgets and pacing across platforms
  • Create weekly/monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations

AI & Marketing Technology
  • Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, etc.) to improve marketing efficiency and creativity
  • Use AI for content creation, copywriting, image generation, data analysis, and workflow automation
  • Stay current on AI marketing tools and recommend new applications
  • Train team on AI tool usage and best practices
  • Explore AI applications for customer segmentation, personalization, and predictive analytics

Project Management & Campaign Execution
  • Manage end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns across all channels
  • Create and maintain detailed project timelines with clear accountability
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (retail, creative, operations)
  • Proactively identify and resolve campaign bottlenecks
  • Manage marketing calendar and ensure team alignment

Influencer & Affiliate Program Management
  • Manage day-to-day operations of influencer program through the GRIN platform
  • Partner with an influencer program strategist on strategy and growth
  • Coordinate influencer outreach, gifting, content approvals, and performance tracking
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance
  • Track program ROI and identify optimization opportunities

Vendor & Agency Management
  • Serve as the main point of contact for digital agencies, creative agencies, and contractors
  • Coordinate project briefs, timelines, and deliverables
  • Manage creative feedback loops and revision processes
  • Track vendor performance and manage contracts

Email Marketing & Copywriting
  • Write email briefs and marketing copy using AI tools for efficiency
  • Coordinate email deployment and ensure timely dissemination
  • Maintain brand voice consistency across all communications
  • Support the social media team with content planning


Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on paid media
  • Strong working knowledge of paid digital advertising platforms: Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube), Meta Ads Manager (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads
  • Hands-on experience analyzing campaign performance: ROAS, CPA, CTR, conversion rates, attribution models
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking
  • Active user of AI tools for marketing (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, etc.) with the ability to train others
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, preferably Shopify
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills - comfortable with data and Excel/Google Sheets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with project management tools (Asana, Monday, Trello, or similar)
  • Detail-oriented with strong proofreading skills

Preferred:
  • Experience working with paid media agencies or in-house with agency partners
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing platforms (GRIN preferred)
  • Email marketing platform experience (Klaviyo preferred)
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, beauty, or luxury goods
  • Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certifications
  • Interest in or knowledge of fragrance and perfumery
  • Creative copywriting skills
  • Experience with marketing automation and AI workflows
