Marketing Analyst

Location:

What you'll do:

As a Marketing Analyst within Corporate Modeling & Analytics (CMA), you will leverage advanced analytics, data engineering, statistical modeling, and forecasting to support AmeriHome's Marketing organization. As the primary analytics partner to Marketing, you will design and develop analytical solutions that measure marketing performance, optimize campaign effectiveness, and drive strategic business decisions. Working closely with Marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, you will transform complex data into actionable insights that improve customer acquisition, engagement, operational efficiency, and profitability.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical and quantitative capabilities with marketing analytics experience and a demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into scalable analytical solutions. Success in this role requires experience working with large datasets, developing reporting and decision-support frameworks, and applying analytical techniques to solve complex business problems and influence business outcomes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Marketing Analytics, Modeling & Forecasting

  • Design, develop, and maintain analytical models to measure and forecast marketing performance across digital and traditional channels, including paid search, paid social, direct mail, email, website traffic, and campaign conversion funnels.

  • Develop attribution frameworks, forecasting methodologies, and performance measurement strategies to optimize marketing spend and maximize ROI.

Data Engineering & Analytics Solutions

  • Build and maintain scalable datasets, data pipelines, and analytical processes that support marketing reporting, customer segmentation, campaign targeting, predictive modeling, and decision-making.

  • Leverage SQL, Python, Power BI, and other analytics tools to transform complex data into actionable business insights.

 

Campaign Performance Monitoring & Optimization

  • Develop campaign monitoring frameworks, KPI scorecards, and reporting that provide visibility into marketing effectiveness.

  • Analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve lead generation, customer acquisition, engagement, and conversion outcomes.

 

Marketing Technology & Systems

  • Partner with Marketing to optimize analytics platforms and marketing technology tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Salesforce, and other reporting solutions.

  • Evaluate new technologies and data sources that enhance marketing measurement capabilities.

 

Competitive Intelligence & Market Analysis

  • Utilize competitive intelligence tools including SEMrush, Competiscan, Lashback, and related platforms to identify market trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive positioning.

  • Develop recurring competitive intelligence reporting and provide strategic recommendations based on market trends and competitor activity.

 

Stakeholder Partnership & Business Consulting

  • Act as a trusted analytics partner to Marketing leadership by translating business objectives into measurable analytical solutions.

  • Communicate findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders using clear, concise, and impactful data storytelling.

 

Automation & Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement automation opportunities that improve reporting efficiency, scalability, data quality, and overall operational effectiveness.

What you'll need:

  • 1+ years of related experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required; Masters or MBA in related field preferred.

  • Entry level knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending including; sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.

  • Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.

  • Intermediate to advanced experience with C#, SQL Server, Excel and Excel VBA, PowerBI.

  • Intermediate to advanced experience with statistical analysis, including the use of tools like R or Python.

  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $107,395.00 - $132,661.00 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
