Description:

As a Marine Superintendent, you will oversee day-to-day field operations for assigned projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. This position plays a vital leadership role in delivering the project safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Responsibilities:
• Plan, direct, and supervise daily field operations, labor, and subcontractors for assigned scopes such as pile driving, bulkheads, sheetpile installation, riprap, cofferdams, commercial diving, etc.
• Ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, quality standards, OSHA regulations, and Cooper -Tacia safety culture.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Safety personnel to maintain safe and efficient jobsite operations.
• Oversee and sequence field activities, including bulkhead construction, apron reconstruction, ground improvement, concrete structures and utilities.
• Manage equipment, material deliveries, and manpower to maintain schedule and minimize disruption within active port or dam operations.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce jobsite safety, environmental, and security protocols.
• Identify potential conflicts or delays and work collaboratively to develop solutions.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and ensure proper communication of goals, logistics and safety requirements
• Lead daily safety meetings and establish a rigorous safety culture with a lead-by-example approach.
• Support startup, testing, and commissioning activities for utilities and facilities.

Requirements:
• Minimum 10+ years of construction field supervision experience, preferably in marine or heavy civil projects.
• Proven ability to lead field crews and subcontractors on large-scale infrastructure or design-build projects.
• Strong knowledge of marine construction methods (sheet piles, cofferdams, fender systems, dredging) and/or civil utilities and concrete structures.
• Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and means and methods.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with field management tools and Microsoft Office Suite; scheduling experience a plus.
