Manufacturing Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Actively embodies SEL Values and leadership competencies to foster a culture of growth, empathy, and accountability among employees.

3. Exhibits agility and sound judgment by taking prompt, decisive action in rapidly evolving situations.

5. Develops a strong understanding of upstream and downstream processes to ensure seamless communication and efficient product flow.

6. Assesses and oversees work process training to improve operational performance and drive production excellence.

7. Sets clear performance expectations and ambitious goals aligned with organizational priorities, while fostering a positive work environment through ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance management.

8. Addresses personnel issues and resolves conflicts equitably and constructively under guidance.

9. Develops, maintains, and enforces control over area work instructions and reports to ensure consistency and operational efficiency.

10. Applies root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools to investigate and resolve quality issues within the production area.

11. Promotes a culture of safety by reinforcing standards and actively supporting the implementation of safety initiatives.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of leadership experience
Demonstrated ability to model SEL Values to others
Ability to communicate professionally, respectfully and openly to a diverse audience.
Ability to prioritize, organize and delegate work; intervene to remove obstacles as needed.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product flow for up and downstream areas.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and department's business systems (Lotus Notes, Dynamics AX, SQS, etc.)
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications
College degree (BS or BA)
Supervisory experience or training
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and department's business systems (Lotus Notes, Dynamics AX, SQS, etc.)

Pay Range Data

We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Pay range for this position is 81,300 to 95,000. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
