Full Job Description
As a Manufacturing Reliability Site Resource II at Kellanova, you will take a forward-thinking approach to driving plant performance and continuous improvement at our Grand Rapids manufacturing facility. This role goes beyond maintaining operations-you'll influence the broader organization by leading productivity improvement and cost savings initiatives while strengthening reliability systems and processes.

In this on-site role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, and continuous improvement leadership. You'll lead impactful initiatives, build capability across the plant, and play a key role in shaping a culture focused on data-driven decision-making and sustainable results.

A Taste of What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead Productivity Initiatives - Own and drive KSUM (Kellanova Start-Up Management) productivity projects from concept through execution, partnering with Engineering and CI teams to deliver measurable productivity gains and cost savings.


  • Drive Loss Elimination - Collaborate with hourly and salaried teams to identify, analyze, and eliminate chronic and sporadic losses using structured root cause problem-solving and KWS tools to improve manufacturing efficiency.


  • Leverage Continuous Improvement Tools - Apply Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and CIPO methodologies to optimize processes and drive sustainable improvements across the plant.


  • Advance Operational Excellence - Partner with site leadership to support and execute Operational Excellence initiatives that enhance performance, reliability, and efficiency.


  • Lead Packaging Innovation & Change Management - Partner with corporate business teams to lead packaging innovation initiatives and manage changes with impacted Line Centric Teams, ensuring effective implementation, adoption, and long-term sustainability.


We're Looking for Someone With

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical or business field OR equivalent experience
  • Proven experience leading continuous improvement projects (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, KWS, IWS, or similar methodologies)
  • Manufacturing environment experience
  • Experience driving and delivering measurable CI initiatives and cost savings
  • Experience working with data analysis, root cause problem-solving, and performance metrics (KPIs)


Compensation

The annual salary range is $108,300- $142,170, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
