Schneider Electric offers an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our team in El Paso, TX. In this role you will be critical in driving quality performance at the source, ensuring robust processes, and leading continuous improvement initiatives that impact cost, quality, and delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
What will you do?- Driving quality at the source by implementing and sustaining Quality Fundamentals (OK 1st Part, Check-Do-Check, LPAs, Poka-Yoke, Jidoka).
- Leading root cause analysis (RCA) and ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring issues.
- Improving key quality metrics such as RPN, FFR, MDR, CoPQ, and DCR, translating data into actionable improvements.
- Strengthening process controls and standardization, ensuring adherence to the Quality Management System.
- Develop manufacturing PFMEAs, Control Plans, and identify opportunities for process improvement. Leading and supporting risk mitigation, ensuring high-risk failure modes are addressed.
- Implement and sustain Lean and Six Sigma concepts, collaborating with cross-functional teams and other functional departments.
- Supporting customer issue resolution, ensuring fast containment and long-term systemic fixes.
- Driving digitalization and data integrity through quality systems (e.g., MES, SAP, or equivalent tools).

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field required).
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality or process engineering.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with RCA, PFMEA, and data-driven decision making.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt preferred) is a plus.
- Strong expertise in structured problem solving (8D, 5 Whys, A3, Fishbone, Six Sigma).
- Ability to analyze data and translate it into business impact (PPM, cost, trends).
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and process controls.
- Experience with PFMEA and risk-based thinking.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive accountability.
- High sense of urgency and strong execution mindset.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 86,400 - USD 129,600 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
