About the Role

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will lead the development of new processes and continuously improve existing ones across production, quality, and engineering. You'll leverage lean and Six Sigma methodologies, technical expertise, and machining experience to deliver process changes that enhance safety, efficiency, cost savings, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Champion
  • Develop, implement, and optimize safety protocols and best practices.
  • Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Foster a safety-first culture through training and awareness programs.
  • Wear required PPE and adhere to EEC safety policies.

Configuration Management Expert
  • Collaborate across teams to implement configuration changes and maintain process consistency.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of changes on quality and efficiency.
  • Create and revise internal routings, BOMs, and process documentation.

Innovator of New Process Technology
  • Research, evaluate, and lead pilot projects for new manufacturing technologies.
  • Submit Capital Spending Requests (CSR) and oversee installation, de-bugging, and qualification of new equipment.
  • Integrate new technologies into existing systems with minimal disruption.

Process Improvement & Automation Leader
  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma to identify improvement opportunities, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Design devices, tooling, fixtures, and associated drawings.
  • Implement automation solutions for complex, high-volume processes.

Machining Excellence & Production Support
  • Create and optimize machining processes to reduce lead times, lower costs, and improve quality.
  • Provide hands-on technical support to production teams and collaborate with Maintenance.
  • Analyze production data and recommend process adjustments.

Technical Customer Support
  • Recommend improvements to customer designs and support R&D projects.
  • Communicate directly with customers and vendors to ensure technical excellence.

Accountability & Collaboration
  • Strive for excellence in achieving assigned outputs.
  • Proactively communicate challenges and ideas.
  • Seek support when needed to perform at peak capacity.
