Job DescriptionYou will be the Demand Planner for the Production Planning & Control team. Our team is responsible for creating and maintaining bills of material and material master records, coordinating engineering changes, and ensuring the production schedule meets operational requirements.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Demand Planner you will be responsible for managing product data, loading demand, and aligning schedules with operations.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Create and maintain all bills of material (BOM) and material master records.
- Utilize engineering and MRP systems to load demand and generate accurate schedules.
- Coordinate timing of engineering changes with Engineering and the Change Board Representative.
- Perform audits to verify lot-size and lead-time accuracy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and drive continuous improvement.

Basic QualificationsBachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Past experience in any of the following areas:
Make/Buy/BOM Planning, Supply Chain, or
equivalent or experience in one area with an
understanding of the other two.
Proficient knowledge of computer systems,
databases, and programs; including SAP,
Microsoft office, and Apriso, or equivalent.
Very good organization and communication
skills.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and
multitasking skills.
Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing and/or
supply chain management.
Knowledge of Material Management and
Accounting System (MMAS).
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance, therefore
selected candidate must be a US Citizen
Desired skillsAbility to work with multiple levels of
management, industry, peers, a represented
workforce or business.
Windchill and MPMLink experience,
Understanding of material attributes and bill of
material effectivity planning
Previous working experience with engineering
drawing and parts lists.
Inventory Control and material handling
knowledge, including familiarity with material
requirements and Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping
areas of responsibility.
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $84,900 - $147,085.
