Inside the RoleLead a team of skilled trades professionals responsible for maintaining critical production equipment and facility systems at DTNA's Mt. Holly Truck Manufacturing Plant. The Maintenance Supervisor will drive employee safety, equipment reliability, preventive maintenance execution, and TPM initiatives while supporting a high-volume manufacturing operation. This role requires a strong leader who can develop teams, solve complex equipment issues, and partner with operations to minimize downtime and maximize production performance.

Position offers a starting salary range of $104,000 - $133,000 USDPay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA- Supervise team leaders and team members of the Maintenance department.
- Responsible for planning and allocating manpower to support the daily requirements of production areas, completion work orders and PM's on time, CI events, and maintain the Facility and Site as required to sustain a stable and safe work environment.
- Support the successful implementation of TPM at Mt Holly.
- Develop and complete assigned facility related capital projects on time and within budget.
- Successful implementation and sustainability of TOS in the maintenance work groups by utilizing TOS tools.
- Support the Maintenance Training Matrix by continually evaluating and developing Team Leader and Maintenance employee skills as required to maintain plant equipment and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Promote and execute TOS problem solving techniques across teams in an effort to eliminate equipment failures that that result in excessive cost and downtime. Recommend and implement necessary processes to eliminate repetitive failures.
- Continually improve the maintenance work environment to maximize employee safety and ensure adherence to the department and plant 5S goals.
- Administer Company and Departmental policies and procedures.
- Address and resolve team's employee relation issues as they arise.
- Decision maker for daily activities that are guided by policy, procedures, and business plans with oversight from manager.
- Demonstrates understanding and application of procedures and concepts related to job field as well as basic knowledge of other related work areas
- Coordinates the resources of team and set daily priorities to meet operational objectives
- Primarily supervises the work of entry and intermediate level professional individual contributors or large numbers of shop floor employees in operations, manufacturing, and/or logistics
- Interprets and administers policies, processes, and procedures
Knowledge You Should Bring- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field and 2-4 years of leadership experience; OR 6+ years of experience leading maintenance teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment in lieu of a degree.
- Experience supervising and developing maintenance technicians, skilled trades employees, team leaders, and/or hourly production support personnel.
- Demonstrated success leading teams of 20+ employees in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of industrial maintenance systems, including troubleshooting and repair of pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and chain-driven equipment.
- Experience managing preventive maintenance programs, work orders, equipment reliability initiatives, and downtime reduction efforts.
- Ability to diagnose equipment issues, coordinate repairs, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead teams across multiple functional areas.
- Must be willing to work any shift.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Exceptional Candidates Might Have- Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting paint operations, E-Coat systems, industrial finishing equipment, or automotive manufacturing processes.
- Experience troubleshooting or supporting paint robots, robotic automation equipment, or highly automated production systems.
- Electrical maintenance experience and/or familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment.
- Experience implementing or supporting Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs.
- Experience with SAP PM, Maximo, or other CMMS systems.
- Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or TOS experience.
- Experience leading maintenance operations in the automotive, heavy-duty truck, or other high-volume manufacturing industries.
