Job Description:DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Manufacturing Manager join our team in Raynham, MA.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a team of manufacturing professionals to achieve production targets and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of production plans with business goals and objectives.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement training programs to develop manufacturing personnel.
- Oversee production schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
QualificationsEducation: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent University degree is required; a focused degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field is preferred. An advanced degree, Master's is preferred.
Experience and Skills:Required: - Minimum six (6) years of relevant professional experience.
- Ability to build interdependent partnering relationships that facilitate the accomplishment of Operation's goals/objectives.
- Basic project management skills.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities.
Preferred:- Experience in a manufacturing operations environment.
- Experience in the Healthcare/Medical Devices industry.
- Experience working in FDA-regulated environments.
- Knowledge of capacity planning, financial competence and a basic understanding of lean manufacturing technologies.
- Formal lean six-sigma/process excellence training and/or certification.
Other:- Ability to be based on site and support up to 10% domestic and international travel.
