Job Title: Manufacturing Manager 12/27/2020

Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Manager Is responsible for overseeing, and managing the daily operations of all plant floor (approximately 25) employees and work centers making sure all work is completed efficiently. They must have strong leadership skills and experience in a custom manufacturing environment. They will participate in the hiring and training of new employees and monitor all daily work activity. Will be responsible for all customer service activities, and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job duties and Responsibilities:

Is responsible for managing the daily operations of all shop floor personnel.

Assigns and oversees the daily duties to shop workers/ work centers.

Participate in the hiring and provides training of all employees.

Ensures that all deadlines and deliveries are met.

Addresses and resolves customer expedites, issues and complaints.

Participate and assist in all employees' annual reviews.

Ensure the shop is clean, organized and safe.

Are a key member and participant of the ISO Quality Management Team.

Warns, disciplines or termination of employees not working to company standards.

Enforces all health and safety policies in the shop.

Interacts with all work centers including Engineering, Quality Control, Cost Estimating, Accounting, Human resources.

Key member in achieving monthly labor and revenue goals.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrates strong leadership skills.

Must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Experience and knowledge in a custom manufacturing, fast pace, shop environment.

Works well with a team,

Possesses solid analytical and problem solving abilities.

Manages time efficiently, must have excellent time management skills.

Is able to multi-task effectively.

Pays attention to detail.

Demonstrates strong organizational skills.

Possess basic computer skills.

Ability to read and understand detailed shop drawings and manufacturing work orders.

Communicate clearly and effectively.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma required

Experience in a custom-manufacturing environment.

Management or supervisory experience required.

Work / physical Environment:

The majority of the working hours will be spent on the shop floor walking and standing.

Weekend hours will be required.

A minimum of a 40- hour workweek, overtime will be necessary.

Day shift position, health Insurance, 401k with match, vacation, starting salary to $112,000 with possible annual bonus.
