Full Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a senior-level Planner in the manufacturing industry. This role requires strong analytical skills, sound decision-making, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

About the Role:

Lead customer order management and production planning activities to ensure exceptional customer service and operational performance. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, Sales, Production, Procurement, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to balance customer demand with manufacturing capacity. Proactively analyzes demand trends, identifies supply risks, and develops solutions to maintain service levels while supporting business objectives. In addition to managing complex customer accounts and escalated issues, this position drives continuous improvement initiatives, supports Sales, and provides guidance and mentorship to team members

Responsibilities:
    • To plan sensibly all TSS Pawling customer orders as per the requested delivery date, bearing in mind tooling, manpower, and machine resource constraints.
    • To amend/cancel orders as per order fluctuations in order to maintain a constant WIP (work in process) level.
    • Any significant future change in material consumption is to be flagged.
    • Highlight any need for new/additional tooling requirements to the Manufacturing Support functions.
    • Manage 'hands-on' any urgent parts and take all necessary action so that the parts are ready for shipment in time.
    • Review arrears and partial shipments continuously and issue a re-plan accordingly.
    • Responsible for reporting any hazards / near misses/incidents immediately to the area management.
    • Analyze sales trends, inventory levels, and capacity constraints to proactively identify supply risks.
    • Develop and recommend inventory and production strategies to improve service levels and reduce costs.
    • Lead weekly planning meetings.

Education and Qualifications:
  • Must have experience in an industrial manufacturing production planner role
  • High School Degree or equivalent. Some college preferred.
  • AIP Certification in lieu of experience in Planning
  • Five years of planning and/or customer service experience in a manufacturing environment required. Prefer experience with a custom, build-to-order manufacturing environment.
  • ERP Experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP), e-mail, word processing, and spreadsheet software. Accurate data entry skills.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills. Attention to detail a must.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
  • Math skills to include the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Basic concepts of Algebra and Geometry.
  • Problem-solving ability
PPE Requirements:
  • Safety Glasses to be worn at all times when on the production floor
  • Safety Shoes to be worn at all times when on the production floor
  • Must wear appropriate PPE for all work activities performed; varies based on work

$85,000 - $100,000 depending on experience
