As a Manufacturing Operations Group Lead, you will lead people, processes, and production activities that support the delivery of complex lithography systems used by leading semiconductor manufacturers around the world.

This Manufacturing Operations Group Lead role combines operational leadership with people development. You will help create a safe, productive, and continuously improving manufacturing environment while supporting production goals, new product introductions, and organizational growth in our Wilton, Connecticut facility.

Schedule:

Compressed work week N1 Sunday-Tuesday every other Wednesday 6:00pm-6:00am

Compressed work week N2-Thursday-Saturday with every other Wednesday 6:00pm-6:00am

Role and Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Operations Group Lead, you will lead a manufacturing area and help ensure consistent delivery of quality products. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to remove barriers, support production goals, and develop a high-performing team.

You will:

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Coach, develop, and support Team Leads, specialists, and technicians.
• Develop staffing plans and build workforce capability to meet production demands.
• Partner with engineering, planning, quality, and logistics teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Support new product introductions and production ramp activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, and operational stability.
• Communicate production performance, risks, and priorities to leadership and business partners.

Education and Experience

To be successful as a Manufacturing Operations Group Lead, you should have:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Seven or more years of experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Three or more years of people leadership or operational leadership experience.
• Experience managing production performance, staffing, and quality outcomes.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement methods.
• Lean Yellow Belt certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, SAP, or other enterprise resource planning systems.
• Hands-on experience working with manufacturing equipment, tools, and production processes.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work in a Cleanroom environment (constant 72℉; working under ISO 9001/14001 standards)
• Must be able to work in full PPE (full body coveralls, hood, clean room safety shoes, face mask, nitrile gloves, safety glasses) for entire duration of shift and re-gown multiple times per day
• Routinely required to sit, walk, talk, hear, use hands to keyboard, use fingers to handle and feel, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach and stretch
• Must be able to perform solo lifts and/or move up to 20 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required -- close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Must be able to work with/on ladders, work on platforms, work around chemicals, operate overhead cranes, fork trucks and motorized pallet jacks.
• There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. a7 730, et seq.).
