Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor - Laser Systems Repair is responsible for leading the daily operations of a laser repair center, supervising a team of technicians responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing sophisticated fiber laser systems. This role combines technical leadership with operational management, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently, meet quality standards, and provide exceptional customer satisfaction. The supervisor also partners with engineering, quality, and product development teams to improve product reliability, streamline repair processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
This position is ideal for experienced field service engineers, engineering supervisors, electronics repair leaders, photonics professionals, or military technical leaders with experience supporting complex electronic or electro-mechanical equipment.
Must-Have Skills, Experience, and Education: - Associate's Degree, Technical Certificate/Degree, or equivalent technical experience.
- 3-5 years of laser, photonics, or sophisticated capital equipment field service experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical equipment.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.

Requirements: - Supervise and lead a team of laser repair technicians.
- Monitor repair center performance metrics and implement process improvements.
- Manage daily repair center operations, including diagnostics, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex laser system failures.
- Ensure repaired products meet company quality standards.
- Serve as the technical expert for assigned laser products.
- Provide customer communications, repair updates, and escalation support.
- Coordinate warranty claims, product replacements, and service contract activities.
- Maintain technical documentation and repair knowledge databases.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.
- Partner with engineering, quality, and product development teams to improve product reliability.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance repair efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Occasionally travel domestically as required.
