We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who understands the rhythm of a converting environment. If terms like unwind, rewind, web tension, material flow, roll-to-roll processing, laminating, coating, and slitting are familiar to you, this role should feel very close to the kind of work you have done before.
In this role, you will help bring new SKUs and custom customer requests to life on the production floor. You will work through setup challenges, troubleshoot process issues, improve dies and tooling, and partner with operations to reduce waste, improve uptime, increase yield, and make the work easier to run consistently.
What you will own- Support converting equipment setup, trials, and scale-up for new products, customer requests, and changing production needs.
- Troubleshoot web handling, unwind/rewind, material flow, tooling, die, and process issues directly with operations and maintenance.
- Use AutoCAD, Excel, and practical engineering judgment to improve layouts, documentation, processes, and decision-making.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on uptime, yield, waste reduction, quality, and production-floor efficiency.
The person who will do well hereThis role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys being on the production floor, working closely with operators, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement. Experience with converting, web handling, roll-to-roll manufacturing, adhesives, coating, laminating, slitting, or similar processes is highly preferred. A Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree is a plus, but relevant manufacturing experience is equally valued.

- Working knowledge of web tension, unwind/rewind, coating, laminating, slitting, dies, tooling, or material flow.
- A practical, floor-focused problem solver who works well with operators, supervisors, maintenance, and technical teams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to balance technical problem-solving with production urgency.
